Facebook goes Tango!

This time I created another icon related to Pidgin: An icon for the Facebook plugin. I created it per request specially for the Facebook Chat Plugin for Pidgin, now also used by the Conduit Project, the Facebook Sidebar Statusbutton, the Galaxium Instant Messenger, and the Jabbim Instant Messenger:

    Keep up the great work!

  2. Cube Says:

    Hey, thanks Andreas!

  3. Garret Says:

Ok but how i can take these pictures?

  4. Cube Says:

    Hey Garret,

I usually just post my artwork without posting the individual image files, simply because most of the time people just want to take a look at some new icons rather than download them and use them.

Nevertheless, if anyone (even just one person) asks about the image files, I immediately go ahead and upload them.

I updated my entry, you can download them now.

  5. Garret Says:

Ok but now i have seen that these icons are the same of the facebook_plugin_package. Do you know it?

  6. Cube Says:

Yes, I made them for that plugin ;)

  7. BHSPitMonkey Says:

Do you happen to have the SVG up somewhere?

  24. Lukáš Polívka Says:

    Hello!

We’d like to use these icons with Jabbim client as ‘status icons’. For that, we’re missing offline status (I could just de-saturate the images, but I guess that wouldn’t produce tango-compatible palette) and possibly away status (not supported yet but pidgin-facebook plugin / XMPP-Facebook gateway, but might be supported in the future). Also 32×32 size and SVGs would be nice.

And probably explicit GPL2 license so it can be bundled with Jabbim.

Gajim client could also use these status icons, they already use Tango-based iconsets.

  25. Lukáš Polívka Says:

Oh, sorry I forgot to *ask*: Would you be please willing to make the missing icons? I think other projects could use them as well.

    Thanks!

  26. Yann Says:

Would it be possible to get svg files, to use them in Gajim Jabber client? Thanks for your work.

  27. pokek Says:
