After weeks of work, I’m proud to present the first release of Project Breakdance! Breakdance is a collection of internet service icons following the style guidelines Tango, and on top of that, all available under public domain!

Right now it’s at version 0.1. There is 11 icons available in 48×48px, 32×32px, 22×22px and 16×16px, plus the scalable SVG version (in alphabetical order):
- Brightkite
- Digg
- Flickr
- Friendfeed
- Identi.ca
- Laconica
- OpenID
- Ping.fm
- Stumble Upon
This project right now consists of a compilation of my previous works related to internet services, but more will be added as the project goes on.
All icons are available under the terms of Public Domain.
While I did all the design work, I would like to thank Hans Rødtang for doing all the work “around” the actual design!
Please donate if you like the project, or would like an icon to be added!

Soda: The first “Breakdance” link leads to the Launchpad project page where you can find the downloadable tar.gz (zips will be uploaded if demand gets high enough).

Yeah – follow the Launchpad link to grab the files.

These icons are great! They’re already in use in a project (with proper attribution, of course) I’m working on. They’re incredibly helpful.
Any specific plans on adding additional icons?
Thanks for the awesome work.

Just switched my blog from the default Sociable (WordPress plugin to show “share this” linkage) icons to your lovely Tango ones. Goes much better with the other GNOMEy icons I’m using, and the hourly changing Tango colour schemes.
Thanks!
